The Grinderino 5" started with a simple idea: take everything that makes the Demibot great and pack it into a smaller, lighter build. That's exactly what Botgrinder asked the Ummagawd team to pull off, and the result speaks for itself. A true 5" freestyle frame with its own identity, designed and built in the USA by pilots who actually fly what they make.
In a market flooded with generic frames from anonymous overseas factories, the Grinderino stands apart. Ummagawd and Botgrinder are real names in the FPV world — independent builders who designed this frame to fly it themselves, and that attention to detail shows in every piece of carbon.
The construction is built to take punishment. 4mm carbon arms handle hard impacts without snapping, the 2mm bottom plate distributes stress across the frame, and 7075 aluminum standoffs with a 6mm OD keep everything rigid without adding unnecessary weight. Despite all of that, the complete quad comes in under 250g all-up weight — a clean build that stays light without compromising durability.
Electronics fit without hassle. The Grinderino 5" supports both a whoop-style AIO (25.5x25.5 mounting) and a standard 20x20 stack, so you can build with whatever you already have or start fresh with any modern electronics setup. The rear of the frame has plenty of room for your VTX, the front accommodates any camera, and the arms support both 9x9mm and 12x12mm motor mounting patterns — covering virtually every motor on the market.
Running digital video? The DJI O3 drops right in. The O4 air unit fits as well, though for the O4 camera we recommend picking up the dedicated O4 camera mount separately for a secure two-standoff installation.
Everything you need to build is in the box: top plate, 4 arms, bottom plate, mid plate with press nuts pre-installed, full hardware kit, Ummagrip battery pad, two battery straps, and a set of TPU FPV camera mounts. Just add your motors, electronics, and props.
