The Lil Matey2 is PIRAT's 3.5" jewel — a French brand born in 2016 from a group of pilots who built the frame they wanted to fly and couldn't find anywhere on the market. Designed by pilots, tested by pilots, released when the team is genuinely happy with every detail. No rushing, no compromises.

When a 5" is too much, the Lil Matey2 is the answer. Pack a few small batteries, throw it in your backpack, and go fly anywhere — abandoned buildings, tight indoor spaces, or anywhere a 5" feels large and awkward. It's agile, compact, and surprisingly capable for its size.

The independent 4mm arms let you replace each one separately after a crash, and the motor pattern accepts both 9x9mm and 12x12mm mounting — covering motors from 1407 to 1804 so you can tune your setup for weight savings or outright power. The dual aluminum camera cage delivers real impact protection for your camera, and the frame accepts 19mm and 20mm FPV cameras with a maximum stack height of 27mm.

Compatible with DJI O3, Walksnail, Vista, and analog systems — the 20x20 mounting pattern front and rear makes it versatile for any video setup you run today or upgrade to in the future.

The geometry can be configured as True-X or Squished to match your preferred flight feel. The battery mounts in classic bus horizontal position or toilet tank vertical between the plates — your choice depending on how you want the weight distributed.

The hardware is full PIRAT standard: T10 Torx grade 12.9 steel screws and 7075 T6 aluminum spacers, with chamfered full 3K T300 carbon throughout. The Torx key is included. Once you fly with Torx screws, you'll never go back to hex.
