The foundation of the FIFTY5 is T700 high-grade carbon fiber, the same material used in the best frames on the market. The 5mm arms are stiff and strong without being brittle, and the chamfered edges on every plate don't just look clean — they reduce stress concentration points and help the frame survive impacts that would crack lesser builds. This is a frame built to last, and when the inevitable crash comes, it handles it better than the competition.
One of the standout details of the FIFTY5 is its CNC aluminum camera plates. While most frames rely on TPU mounts that flex, deform, and eventually break, the FIFTY5's machined aluminum plates protect your camera for real — holding your angle locked in without any movement, and giving the quad a premium look that stands out on the bench and in the air.
The True-X geometry with a 255mm wheelbase delivers predictable, stable, and direct flight characteristics — equally at home doing hard freestyle or smooth cinematic lines. One of the key advantages of this frame is prop flexibility: the FIFTY5 accepts both standard 5" and 5.5" propellers, giving you real options to tune your setup to how you want to fly. Run 5.5" for more thrust and efficiency, or drop to standard 5" for a snappier, more agile feel in tight spaces.
Total weight with essential TPU parts comes in at just 127.7g — an impressive number for a frame built at this level. That means you can mount a GoPro without having to sacrifice battery size, or run a larger pack for extended flight times without the all-up weight getting out of hand.
FlyfishRC included everything you need to build, covering both analog and HD configurations. The hardware is grade 12.9 — the strongest available — and comes with Loctite threadlocker pre-applied from the factory. No screws backing out mid-flight, no surprises in the air.
