The Diatone Roma F5 is one of the most recognized 5" freestyle frames in the FPV scene, and the V2 arrives with meaningful upgrades across every area where pilots were asking for more. This isn't a cosmetic refresh — it's a genuine evolution of a frame that was already very good.
The most significant improvement in the V2 is the front camera cage. Diatone moved from 7075 aluminum to titanium steel, one of the strongest materials you'll find on any freestyle frame. The difference is immediately noticeable: the front end of the quad is substantially more rigid, handles head-on impacts better, and protects your camera and air unit through the crashes that matter most. On top of that, the screws securing these metal parts were upsized from M2 to M3 — more strength, less chance of anything backing out or breaking at the wrong moment.
This HD version is specifically built for the DJI Digital FPV system. The 226mm wheelbase in a deadcat-style layout keeps your propellers completely out of the HD camera's field of view, and the frame includes dedicated mounts for both DJI antennas right out of the box — something many frames leave as an afterthought that turns into a headache during the build. Here it's solved from the factory.
The V2's slammed configuration lowers the quad's center of gravity, resulting in greater in-flight stability and more predictable handling whether you're throwing freestyle tricks or laying down smooth cinematic lines. The GoPro mount has a tool-free adjustable angle, making it easy to dial in your tilt between flight sessions in seconds.
The injection-molded protection parts cover the arms and camera zone, adding an extra layer of defense against lateral and frontal impacts. These aren't optional accessories — they're included in the kit and are a core part of the frame's protection system.
Electronics fit without issues. The Roma F5 V2 HD supports 30.5x30.5 (M3) and 20x20 (M2) stacks, covers 3S to 6S voltage ranges, and uses a 16mm motor mounting pattern. A versatile frame that adapts to virtually any build you want to put together.
The carbon is T300 3K — proven, durable, and well executed in the arm and plate design of the V2.
